Logan Beirne, CEO
Logan Beirne is the Chief Executive Officer of Matterhorn Transactions. Logan’s background in law and finance includes working as an attorney with Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, in investment banking at JPMorgan, and in private equity at GE Equity. Logan holds the ISP Fellow designation at Yale Law School and authored the award-winning book, Blood of Tyrants (2013). Logan has also served on the boards of two charities, and he has been featured by USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The New York Post, Reuters, Fox News, ABC News, CSPAN, and numerous other media outlets.
Logan graduated summa cum laude, first in his class with a B.S. in finance from Fairfield University, was Fulbright Scholar in economics at Queen’s University, and earned his J.D. from Yale Law School, where he was an Edgar M. Cullen Scholar. He is admitted to the New York and Connecticut Bars.
Abby Beal, COO
Abby serves as Chief Operating Officer of Matterhorn. Prior to Matterhorn, Abby Beal spent six years practicing law at the law firms of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP. Abby focused her practice primarily on corporate reorganizations, creditors’ and debtors’ rights and bankruptcy proceedings. Abby received her B.A. from Brigham Young University, and her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. Abby is admitted to the New York Bar.
Sanjay Kamlani, Executive Chairman
Sanjay is the Executive Chairman of Matterhorn Transactions. Sanjay is an entrepreneur, business builder and legal industry leader, with expertise in building profitable, high-growth legal businesses.
Previously, Sanjay was Co-Founder and former Co-CEO of Pangea3. Acquired by Thomson Reuters in 2010, Pangea3 was the #1 ranked legal process outsourcing (LPO) provider worldwide, and grew to over 1,000 employees globally during Sanjay’s tenure. Pangea3 provides innovative global legal solutions to Fortune 1000 corporations, in-house counsel and law firms, and has received numerous accolades and industry awards.
Prior to forming Pangea3, Sanjay was a Co-Founder, Board Member, CFO & General Counsel of OfficeTiger, the pioneer in offshore professional support services outsourcing, acquired by RR Donnelly in 2006. At OfficeTiger, Sanjay oversaw all corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, partnerships and investments. Prior to OfficeTiger, Sanjay spent six years as a lawyer at PricewaterhouseCoopers advising US based multinationals on cross-border M&A transactions, green field projects, joint ventures and investments.
Sanjay speaks frequently and is quoted widely on entrepreneurship, cross-border business management, legal process innovation, outsourcing and offshoring. He has been featured in numerous media outlets, including American Bar Journal,The Wall Street Journal, Inc. Magazine, CNBC, and The American Lawyer.
Sanjay graduated from Duke University with a BA in Economics and Public Policy and from the University of Pennsylvania where he earned his law degree and served as an Associate Editor on the Law Review. Sanjay is a member of the New York Bar.
